Dr. Seth Torregiani, DO

Founder and Director

Dr. Torregiani is a 2006 graduate of the combined internal medicine/pediatrics residency program at Christiana Care Health System.

He has had a long-standing interest in and commitment to evidence based integrative medicine. He completed a one-year teaching fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, part of the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA.

He has also accumulated over 500 CME hours in traditional Chinese acupuncture training for physicians. He currently writes a guest column on Integrative Medicine for the The Delaware News-Journal's Health Section.

William Baron

Clinical Massage Therapist

William Baron graduated the Delaware Learning Institute (DLI) for massage in 2005. After graduating, William became a nationally certified LMT and was hired as an educator to teach the massage program at DLI. While maintaining a busy schedule of teaching and practicing massage, he continued to increase his knowledge of the industry by building an extensive list of massage modalities with a strong focus in clinical restorative therapies including preventative maintenance and sports injury rehabilitation. William now works as a Clinical Massage Therapist for The Agada Center of Newark and is co-owner/educator for the Baron and Butler Clinical Massage and Training Center in Rehoboth Beach Delaware.

Kate Gugerty, C.H.H.C.

Holistic Health Coach

Kate Gugerty is a Certified Holistic Health Counselor.  She received her training at the Institute for Integrative Health in New York City.  Her mission as a health counselor is to play a crucial role in improving the health and happiness of her clients.

During her training, she studied numerous dietary theories that ranged from ancient wise traditions to modern contemporary philosophies and was educated by the pioneers of the integrative medicine field including Andrew Weil, Deepak Chopra, Walter Willett, Mark Hyman, Neal Bernard and Marion Nestle.

In addition to The Agada Center, she is a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and the Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine.

Jodi Hutchinson

Energy Therapy Practitioner

Jodi Hutchinson is approaching her third decade in the art of healing.  She earned her graduate degree in Physician Assistant with honors.  As a physician assistant she enjoyed 18 years working on the cardiac surgery team in Wilmington, Delaware. 

Since childhood Jodi has been able to see the body’s subtle energy patterns. She has traveled the world studying with teachers having indescribable healing abilities.

Jodi writes for several online and print publications as a wellness and holistic beauty expert, and is the founder of Darshän Beauty LLC, a fair trade company that exclusively imports a handcrafted, herbal skin care product line derived from 5000 year old Indian recipes.

Picara Vassallo, L.Ac., MSTOM

Licensed Acupuncturist & Certified Chinese Herbalist

Picara Vassallo is a NCCAOM licensed acupuncturist and certified Chinese Herbalist who received her four year Masters Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.  She attended the University of Pennsylvania where she earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology, focusing on Neuroscience.

She has interned at San Diego Hospice and at the Initiative for Women with Disabilities at New York University's Center for Joint Diseases.

She learned Classical Five Element Acupuncture at The Institute of Classical Five-Element Acupuncture in Los Angeles and has done advanced studies of Chinese Herbs with Thea Elijah.

Picara also studied in Thailand with Master Mantak Chia, where she became certified in Chi Nei Tsang, a form of healing abdominal massage. She is also Reiki certified.

She specializes in alleviating symptoms of emotional disorders such as anxiety, stress, and depression. She also treats infertility, chronic pain and does facial rejuvenation acupuncture.
